yes, it is fine. to get technical, you have what is called a mucus plug. it blocks things from getting to the baby. it will be fine. I really suggest you get the book "what to expect when epecting" it will answer A LOT of questions. anything from what if you were on birth control when you got pregnant to showing you all of the pictures each month. it will really help you Both out. Also, make a list of questions for your doctor for each visit. Good Luck.
