Re: Food Ideas, URGENTLY
I am in my 3rd pregnancy currently, and have had EXTREME morning sickness with all three. Toast with jelly sometimes worked, cereal, or pastas (without meat!) are what worked best for me. Also, decaffeinated sweet tea seems to help to sip on. I have found water to be rough on my stomach, and milk as well (although usually ok with cereal). This is just what works best for me.
I do want to urge you to do your best to get her to eat. It is very, very important. Especially if she is actually vomiting. I've found that if I eat immediately after throwing up it has a better chance of staying down.
My first pregnancy I was not able to keep anything down, lost weight initially and never gained a whole lot. I ended up having a premature delivery which could not be attributed to anything else.
Good luck, most women get better as the pregnancy progresses so maybe your wife will too. Glad to see a husband on here trying to help :-)
