No, you are not. I didn't like the idea at first. You don't have to breastfeed your baby at all. There are plenty of formulas out there. You will still produce milk and it may hurt when it has to "dry up", though. I actually changed my mind when I got pregnant and now I want to breastfeed because of the nutritional benefits to the baby.
