Default Nursing Clothing

I need some more accommodating clothes for breastfeeding. What kind of clothes should I look for?

Is this video right? http://www.howvids.com/Fashion/Essen...eeding_Mom.ad2

I plan on breastfeeding our baby who is due any day now and I haven't wanted to "invest" in specific clothing made for breastfeeding but I have picked up a few things. If you have a target where you live, I was able to pick a nursing bra and two nursing tank tops. They're really comfy, not too expensive and you really can't tell there is anything that different about them. Also, at Motherhood Maternity I picked up a nursing night gown but any tank style, low-cut night gown or button front one would work. Instead of buying tons of nursing bras, I was able to find two bras made by Bali that have clasps on the bottom front of each strap and a sports bra from walmart that has hooks in the front. Any bra with a clasp somewhere in the front would work great for nursing out and about. Just keep in mind to go a size up from where you are now...they will grow more!

you can buy great patterned/colored nursing covers at babies r us so you really dont need special clothing, I have breastfed three kids and honestly the nursing shirts are a waste of money and its easier to use a cover or blanket! The ones I like are called hooter hiders, here is a link below about them.

I've been breastfeeding for nine months now, and I didn't have to buy anything special. All I did was buy some spagetti strap shirts and wear them under normal shirts. That way, when I lift my shirt up to feed, my belly isn't exposed, but a lot of my breast isn't exposed either. If you try to unbutton from the top, then you can see more breast. I can feed very discreetly in public, and no one ever know that I'm feeding.

whatvere chotthing yu buy do make sure that they are comfortable on your body and to your baby. You dont have to invest in high end clothing as they wont bee needed after you complate your breast feeding period.

Two nursing bras is all you need. Blankets are all you need to cover up when in public. I don't like showing my tummy at all, so before I'd start I'd tuck a burp blanket (those soft small flanel blankets) under my breasts and over my tummy. Then a blanket on top.

If you wanted a very cheap alternative to nursing clothes you could by some tank tops (wife beater style if you want) and cut out just the breast area, or make slits in them) and wear them under your regular shirt, that way when you lift your shirt up, all you see is the tank top.
