Default Leaking at 30 weeks

I am 30 weeks pregant and have started leaking. It's not a lot, but enough that I noticed. It ranges from clear, to white, to yellowish. Is it normal to leak already? i have heard of this right before giving birth, but not at 30 weeks. I am already at high-risk for pre-term labor, is this a sign that I will deliver early?

Ok, I should specify. I am lactating. I didn't mean discharge from my vagina, it's from my nipples. Sorry if I left that out, I'm kind of in my own little word right now!

This is very normal! I started lactating at 28 weeks with mine. I would just mention it to your OB at your next appointment.

I started the same thing wuite early in both of my pregnancys. I would confirm it with your doctor, but I think this has no bearing on when you will deliver. If you are risk for preterm labor already though, don't let it stress you out. Just relax and ask your doc to set your mind at ease.

I started leaking my colostrum, that's what it is, at 22 weeks. i'm 25 weeks and still get a little bit every day. my doctor said it is possible for leaking to start at 14 weeks, but is not common. so its not a bad sign at all, if anything it can mean that you won't have any supply problems when your milk does come in. i guess it gets us ready for all the leaking to come if we do breastfeed.

Thanks for the input, it makes me feel better. It has been coming and going. Some days it's not there at all and other days it is. I'm just glad that I'm not the only one this happened to!

That can be very normal, every woman is different. I havent leaked but I can express colostrom from my breast since about 27 weeks or so. Dont worry!
