I'm looking for a book with a lot of information on breastfeeding. This is my second child but my first time breastfeeding and I don't know too much yet. I can't go to meetings or anything like that because I have no car and no way of getting around especially with two kids. Can anyone recommend a good book?

Mt favorite book on breastfeeding is
Ina May Gaskin's:"Babies, Brestfeeding and Bonding".
"You can brestfeed your baby...even in special situations" by Dorothy Patricia Brewster, somewhat a classic.

Buy "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" its from the LeLeche League. It is the best resource for all your breastfeeding questions & will also have alot of information for how your babies stools patterns should be.

There's a new show coming out on NBC called The Baby Borrowers and it looks like it will be an interesting social experiment...I'm hoping that they address the issue of feeding on there in some way.

My sister is a la leche league leader (has been involved with the group for 8 years now) and she gave me a copy of this book, it is a great resource.

Also, they should go over some of this in birthing classes, right? They had a whole hour devoted to breastfeeding at my birthing class, complete with a stuffed, plush breast that the instructor gestured with. It was kind of funny.
