Default Breast feeding pain in my right breast. I am successfully feeding my new baby of 5...

...weeks.? My nipples are very sore but the problem is my right breast. I have excruciating shooting pains when feeding. The doctor says it is not thrush. What else can it be. It is putting me off feeding on the right side. I do not want to give up breast feeding at this early stage but it is really hurting me. Any advice.

ask your gp to check it out. sometimes the milk can harden causing mastitis. not nice.
