Yes, but only if the woman can cover the breast and the child while feeding.
Or as ?c0c0puffz? describes it; with a poncho, large towel or other covering.
Face it if a woman shows her breast in public she is flashing. If she is doing it while feeding her baby she doesn't mean to, but she still is.
Most men feel uncomfortable when seeing a woman breast feed. The sexual topics that it raises and shouldn't raise cause a conflict that makes it socially awkward for us. I have seen a woman, married to a friend of mine, breast feed in front of me. She used a blanket to not expose herself and I felt better, but I still felt uncomfortable. The fact that it is a natural process and that I shouldn't feel uncomfortable about it only makes me feel more uncomfortable. It is just too awkward of a situation.
The fact that it is NOT a sexual act, but that catching the view of a breast can be sexually exciting is a problem. Most women with children have a family and this raises the specter of competing with another male for their woman. That is very offensive to men and so it makes us uncomfortable.
