Default baby food??

I blended my 4 month baby his food today & it still had tiny bit's in it. is this ok or should there no no bits at all?

he seemed to eat it ok
thats what i thought. been 8 years since i done it last & i forget alot of things lol
the bit are about ' << small

If he can manage the chunks, and if they are small and soft then Id say it's ok.

I would leave the chunks out until he gets teeth, you dont want him to hold the little chunks in his mouth and try to swallow them all at the same time.

if he can eat it OK then that shouldn't be a problem but i think no bits is easier for them to digest at such a young age . They often can eat if fine just passing it can be a problem.

it's best to avoid solid,chunky food until your child is over 6 months old and has teeth. this avoids the risk of him choking on it.

you can feed him thickened baby cereal or stage 2 baby food (stage 3 has large chunks of food in it).

eventhough he seemed to do fine with it, i would wait till he's a bit older and has some teeth

My little one had no problems with it at that age. It should not be any problem as long as they are relatively small.
