Default should you use the water that you steam the vegetables in to puree w/ the baby food?

I've read it both ways and was wondering - when I'm making baby food - should I use the water I steam the vegetables and fruits with in the puree or use other water? all vegetables and fruits used are organic.

Thanks!

Personally I dont think it would matter, to get the consistency you need you could use the water, as there would be some vitamins in the water other wise I dont think it matters

Hope that helps

I think its great that mums make their babies food when they can .

A long time ago *smile* when I was still in high school we had to buy a tin of baby's sweet and a savoury food , I think I had beef and vegies and apricots and rice...... then we had to make it from scratch ... homemade was so much nicer.
