Default Does liquid formula satisfy babies hunger better than powder?

I was using Enfamil Lipil with Iron in the concentrate when my baby's doctor said that she has acid reflux and put her on Zantac along with giving us samples of Enfamil Prosobee concentrate. Well she got horribly constipated with the Prosobee formula so we tried the Gentlease type but it is only available in powder. She seemed so hungry with that and was still spitting up quite a bit. So we tried the A.R. formula and she is still quite hungry. Both the Gentlease and A.R. is in powder because that is what WIC will cover. Should I switch back to the regular Enfamil Lipil with Iron concentrate as it seemed to fill her up better or is there another concentrate from Enfamil that I could try that will help? Please help me! I hate seeing my baby like this and want her to be happy when she feeds! Thank you!

Have you tried soy formula? My son had severe acid reflux due to being a preemie. He did best with the soy. He used to projectile vomit 2-3 times a day. About 3 days after switching to soy he rarely spit up at all.

my baby uses similac alimentum. it is supposed to be very gentle and easily digested. it is marketed for babies with food allergies and collic. i havent noticed a difference in how satisfied my baby is between the ready made or the powder. i am on wic and they cover both types.
i have heard bad things about soy formula, id check it out first before using it.

One: liquid ready to feed works best for reflux babies because it is thicker. We can not use powder at all in any of the brands, it makes the refluxing worse.

Two: If the pediatrician writes medically required WIC in my state will give RTF(ready to feed). We get WIC as well.

I have heard lots of great stuff about AR but my pediatrician stands behind alimentum (which my reflux daughter loves) and nutramagin(which she wont drink!)

We are also on Zantac and it works for us, one other thing that is important with Refluxers, keep her elevated for at least 30 minutes after a feeding and burp alot. Like every ounce!

Good Luck!
