Default It's a positive!

I just took a test this morning (2 days before I'm due) and it's positive! Not a faint positive either, it's very dark!

I am too scared to acknowledge it becuase I have had 3 miscarriages in the past year, but the tests I did before were very very faint (eg you had to squint to see the line - this is because they were very early miscarriages...)

Fingers crossed this one stays......

PS: this will be my first

Thanks Leeta and Brooke.....

and congratulations to you too Leeta.....

I agree what a wonderful x-mas present.

Leeta, can I ask you whether your previous pregnancy tests were faint or dark? The reason I ask is because the ones that I have taken (before I miscarried) were really really faint and this one is very dark. I am so excited.....

Well honestly it all depended...any that i lost early as being 8 weeks and less was faint. one way that i knew i was going to was that if i waited and took a test a few days later if the line was fainted then the hormone was dropping because it should double ever 2-3 days (meanig the line should get darker)...i'm not saying that is the way it is but that is what i found from my experience.

hope this helps
