Hello everyone.

My name is Amanda. I am on this site because of recent symptoms that make me believe I am pregnant. for quite some time now I have been having pretty good morning sickness or what i thought for a while could have been the flu. My breasts have gotten a little tender but sort of resembled what happens around the time of my period. The reason I was in doubt and dont know about the possible time of conception is that I have a condition called Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome or PCOS that makes me ovulate irregularly. I also have a very strange cycle where i only have a period about 2 or 3 times a year so i cant say I am late. My last period was in october, so about 4 months ago. So after all these recent symptoms and the suggestion of a friend of mine and my husband I decided to take a home pregnancy test. The first one was one she had had for a while and it came back positive. I decided to go buy a new one that i knew wasnt out dated and test again. I did that earlier this evening and it too came back positve. I will be going to the doctor tomorrow morning, which is march 1st. My appointment is at 9 am. I am pretty sure i know what the blood test will say but we shall see in time!

I also wanted to add that, even though i know i am early on in my pregnancy my back is starting to hurt a little. Also having what i can best describe as tighter pelvis muscles...who knows, could all be in my head!

I wanted to tell you all that i went and dr confirmed pregnancy. I go on monday for first ultrasound since idk when i conceived. I should know then how far along i am and how bean is doing!!! Yay me!!!

Ok everyone...

So i went on monday to get my ultrasound to see how far along i was and if everything was ok. I am a plus size girl so i had not noticed much size change. I also have menstrual problems so i didnt know rather or not i was late due to pregnancy or just my normal late. I had begun to get what i now know is morning sickness and thought was the flu. I now know that it is because i am pregnant. I am so excited...so anyways i went monday for my ultrasound and when i got there the ultrasound guy told me everything looked ok and that I AM HAVING TWINS!!! Yay me!!! I am so excited, i rushed home to tell my husband and he too is excited. I am 18 weeks pregnant and I am due 8-8-08...how cool. Which also means i conceived on my 21st birthday. How funny. I know it was possible i got pregnant that night so i am pretty sure thats when it happened. This is all so surprising because i am so far along but i guess thats what i get for already having a belly. LOL... I will keep you all updated!

I just thought you might find this neat: I believe somewhere in Asia (can't remember where), the number eight means new beginnings.....so on 8-8-08....looks like you will have a BIG new beginning! Now that I type it, it sounds stupid, but just thought I'd chime in. Again, congrats!
