Hello all,

So I've had a positive urine pregnancy test and went to my doctor yesterday to confirm it with a blood test. I've had the usual signs like breast soreness for a few weeks now. My doctor told me one sign of miscarriage is that you wake up one day and your breasts aren't sore anymore and you feel fine. Well, today they aren't as sore, they are almost not sore at all. I'm not sure how I physically feel as I have a bad winter cold. There is absolutely no blood coming out either. I am not sure how far I am along and I have an ultrasound to determine that on Monday. Can anyone comment? Does this automatically mean that I may be miscarrying? My pregnancy came as a pleasant surprise and now I am worried...

I think I would take what your doctor said about breast tenderness with a grain of salt. Some women do not even experience breast tenderness at all. I am with this pregnancy but I didn't get that at all with my other two. I was told that a lot of times the yukiness (for lack of a better word) that you feel in the early stages of pregnancy goes away after 12 weeks. If you're not bleeding I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I am 6 wks pregnant....i donot have sore breast.....just rely on the tests....symptoms vary from person to person

I totally dont know if that is what it means, but i wouldnt put all your money on it... My breasts have been sore as hell but after a nice nights sleep when I wake up sometimes they arent as sore in the mornings... but once I put that bra back on they are sore as heck again... so I wouldnt worry too much if you're not cramping or bleeding!

I wouldn't worry too much. One of the reasons I didn't think I was pregnant was because my breasts weren't sore, but turns out I'm 4 weeks! Good luck!

Yeah, I wouldn't put too much weight on sore breasts. Mine vary from day to day. Some days they are so sore that the slightest contact hurts, but then other days they're completely fine. From everything I have read, blood would definitely accompany a miscarriage.

Also, breast tenderness doesn't always happen early on. I think I was at least 6 weeks before it started.

I'm 5 weeks along and am experiencing some soreness. But there's no nausea or most of the other symptoms. My husband keeps saying that the biggest symptom (that I haven't yet got my period) is there and the home pregnancy test also showed a faint second line! My OBGYN's office said they won't see me till I miss my second period, so out of sheer desperation I have scheduled an appointment with my primary care doc tomorrow.
