This weekend I took the test that came out +ve with the darkest line I have ever seen.
Monday I joined the forum and today I went for Blood test @ my doctor's.
I just got a call from them - Its confirmed - I am PREGNANT!!
I am tearing up as I am writing this note.
The nurse told me that my numbers were very high (which is good) and that I need to see the Doctor this Friday Sept 12 for the Vaginal u/s and she said we may hear a heart beat.
OMG I still cant believe it. I want to cry and I want to cry lot - but with tears of joy. Me and my husband have been waiting for this call since a couple of years now. This is our first baby. I told him over phone and he is so happy.
I am just wondering, is it too early for an u/s? Is it safe for the baby? Not that I doubt my doctor, but still....need some reassurances.
An ultrasound is perfectly safe. I found out I was pregnant in June and it was three weeks before I had my vag u/s. I guess your levels were high enough that they think you might be a little further along. I was 7 weeks when my u/s was done and my little bean has been going strong ever since (15 weeks now). Good luck...enjoy...and hope that everything continues to go well.
After measuring the CRL in the u/s last Friday, he said that the baby's growth is in sync with my last periods and the baby is 5W6D (My last periods were on 0802).
I have to visit him again for 8 weeks u/s on 29th - till then, I am just keeping my fingers crossed.
