Default Going crazy...Please read.

I supposedly lost my baby on June 13th of this year at six weeks of pregnancy. I got a short period about mid-July, but I haven't had one since. It's now September 1st. I would be 17 weeks pregnant since Friday I were still pregnant. I've gained a little bit of weight and my belly is sticking out but under my belly button and it's not how I usually carry weight. I feel a little fluttering but I don't want to mistake that for something else. I drank a LOT of water tonight, probably about 50-60 oz in 5 hours, but then I took a pregnancy test and it was negative but there was a very very very faint line. Could I still be pregnant? And wouldn't I have noticed sooner if I were?

hmm..well I'm not a Dr. or anything but your best bet would be hold back on the water and wait until morning to take another test. When I first found out I was pregnant, I got one positive test and then drank like a gallon of water so that I could pee for another test, and it turned out negative. Since I bought a three pack I just waited till morning and when I took the third, it turned out positive. When I went to the Dr. for my first prenatal appt., I asked him about that, and he said that drinking a large amount of water can dilute your urine making the pregnancy hormone harder to detect. First morning urine is much more concentrated, and you'll get the most accurate results this way.
Hope this helps!

Any line is a positive. There are no such thing as false positives, so my best guest is either a) you never lost the baby in the first place or b) you became pregnant a second time since losing your baby in June. I'd schedule to see your doctor asap and have an ultrasound. That's the only way to know for sure if it's a new pregnancy or not. Congratulations and good luck!

I too had a miscarriage in June.. 6/26/08 to be exact at 8 weeks. I got a period that started on july 27th.. I havent got it again, took a preg test and I am pregnant. Have already gone in (as have been under treatment for infertility) and had 2 blood tests and an u/s.

We were not even trying. I didnt think I could handle a 4th miscarriage. Dont be surprised if you are pregnant from that last cycle. I would go to a dr's office and get a blood test done. They can do those w/o appts, you just need to call ahead of time.

Good luck!
