Alright...so yesterday I started with the pricking of the fingers. The highest of it being 219 yesterday. Oddly enough, that was my "lunch" blood. When I took it again after eating dinner it went down to 168. This morning when I woke up it went down one point to 167 and two hours after eating it went down another six points !! WTH?!?!

Either baby is messin with me or my blood is on crack. Anyone else experience things like this with GD?

Did you start on your diet or are you just testing? Those numbers are really high if you have changed your diet. Your doctor may want to put you on something. A lot of doctors will try the Gluberide first and if that doesn't help they will put you on insulin. I'm sorry you're having trouble with it. The highest I have been was 138 but that was when I was first starting out and I ate too much of something that put me over the carb limit for that particular meal.

I've started my diet; I've been doing everything they asked and it seems to be going down. My latest test came back 139. Sooo I'm just wondering if maybe it's not as severe as they made it out to be or just that my body in itself is out of wack.
