I've been trying to concieve. My period is on the dot every month on a 28 day cycle. Never spotted, always had bloating and heaving period on my regular cycle. My last period was August 10 and don't expect my next period until next week. Had sex around time of ovulation, a week ago.

Today, I spotted. Started out a little and the color is brown. In the evening, it became heavier, reddish. I have to wear a panty liner. Is it implatation bleeding? I'm afraid its actually my period coming very early. I've heard that implantation bleeding should be light and barely noticeable. But my bleeding is on the heavy side, but not so much like my period which is always, always accompanied by heavy flow and bloating. Has anyone else every experienced this?

I took a HPT, but neg. It is still too early to test since I'm expecting my period in 6 days. Please help!

Usually implantation bleeding is the other way around, heavier and then lighter, at least thats how it was with me. I had it and in the begging it was heavier (but only enough to fill a liner) and by the 4th day it was still 'around' but it wasnt very noticeable. Everyone is different though. I would wait a few days and test again, its probably too early to tell right now.
