I wish there were a simple answer but everyone is SO different. I had a friend who was sick for the first 5 months.

I have not been sick once.

Hope it subsides for you soon!

i never had any morning sickness, but my sister-in-law was sick morning and night with my nephew the entire pregnancy. phenergen and other stomach meds barely touched her nausea.

she considered having more kids, but she refuses to risk going through that kind of torture again.

and like all the other posters, i agree everyone is different. all you can do is hope that it goes away. and fast!

At 12 weeks youre hormones should level out and you should start feeling better. I say should because not everyone is the same, but all the research I did for a paper I just wrote (as well as my own experience) says that most women's morning sickness lessens or subsides once they hit the 2nd trimester mile mark.

Best of luck!!

I have not had a day of morning sickness with any of my pregnancies but I feel for those who do. I've heard that although it may stop or get better around 12 weeks that sometimes it comes back in the third trimester.

I know how you feel. I'm about 9 weeks and have been so sick all day long. So much for it just being in the morning, lol. Hopefully the next few weeks will go by fast.

i've heard lots of different scenerios including how some women are sick all the way through, though i'm thinking that's rare.

i was only sick for the first trimester...it subsided towards the end of the first trimester though.
