Default Don't feel pregnant...a little concerned.

I discovered I was pregnant a week ago today via five home pregnancy tests (I took seven in all). I have an appointment next week to confirm it. As of now, I've only had two symptoms: implantation bleeding, and a missed period (right now, my perfectly regular period is five days late).

The thing that concerns me is that everybody is asking me if my breasts hurt. Thing is, they feel fine. Should I be concerned that they're not hurting by now? Should I be concerned that I haven't had any other symptoms?

Maybe I'm being silly. Does anybody have any input?

If the pregnancy test was positive.. RELAX!!! your pregnant and Congrats..
Everyones body reacts to pregnancy differently. Some people don't get the usual pregnancy symtoms at all. It could be that it's to early and your Hcg levels aren't very high yet, or you may possibly not notice anything for weeks to come. If you haven't already made a doctors appointment, you can bring these issues up with your doctor when you go. It's normal to feel the way you do but try not to stress.. good luck!! and congrats!!

my boobs never hurt. they grew at the end of my first trimester but they never hurt or tingled or any of that. most people don't get morning sickness until 6-8 weeks so it could still be coming. you are definitely pregnant. enjoy feeling great while it lasts, maybe you'll even get lucky and escape most of the not so fun symptoms. Congratulations!

Wannabemama,

If you don't mind me asking, when was AF due and when was your last regular monthly cycle?

That could very well determine why you are not having many symptoms. It is very possible you do not have enough of the pregnancy hormone in your system as of yet.

My last regular flow came on 9/6/08. I just recently missed AF yesterday. I learned I was pregnant with a hpt two days ago. I am only experiencing sore breasts, a bit of fatigue, constant hunger, and very mild cramping--enough to truly believe AF was coming--not that I was prego!

Enjoy it now because it could very well change later on in your pregnancy.

Congrats!

Everyone experiences symptoms different. I was like you. Implantation bleeding and a missed period were my only symptoms really the whole time.. My boobs did get sore for a while but it went away.... I never got sick, never had heartburn never had any of the usual pregnant symptoms... I never even had mood swings and have only had a few crying outburst in the privacy of my own home. Im almost 34 weeks and I still have not had any of the "symptoms" of pregnancy, aside from the whole growing baby part

I'm about 12 weeks and my breasts really haven't changed at all and were never really sore. I did get morning sickness, about week 6 or so and have been pretty miserable ever since. Try not to stress too much, congrats.

I am not a dr but am preg right now too- my breasts did not really hurt all that much and I felt fine (maybe a little tired) until about 6 or 6 1/2 weeks....then morning sickness hit. Good luck at the dr!

I wouldn't be concerned about the lack of symptoms. I never did and still don't really feel pregnant. I tested the day after AF was due and got a very dark positive but didn't get any symptoms till awhile after that. I was about 7 weeks when morning sickness finally came, but it was very mild. I'd only get nauseous feeling throughout the day, especially after eating. My boobs didn't start hurting till I was a couple months along. Headaches didn't start until just about a couple weeks ago. And that's about all I've had as far as pregnancy symptoms.
Every pregnancy is different. I wouldn't worry too much. I wish you a very happy, healthy pregnancy... and just maybe you too will be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get bombarded with the nasties.
