Question Growing Pains?

Hey ladies! How is everyone doing?
As to my last post about worrying, EVERYTHING GREAT! had an ultrasound done yesterday, IT'S A BOY
anyways.

I'm 18 weeks now & a lot of people I see who are pregnant just start to pop around then, going into 20 & 21 weeks.
I've been having pains & i'm just wondering if they are growing pains or not?

I know the little light crampy feeling is a growing pain, but i feel like my stomach
hurts, like a bad stomachache but not? I know it's not gas or having to go to the bathroom, it's hard to explain but I get the pain feeling every couple of minutes.
What could it possibly be?

=] thank you very muccch for your time

Probably your muscles and ligaments stretching and growing. I had the same type of pain around that time too.

I wouldn't worry too much

I started experiencing this more this week (13th going into 14th). It scared me a bit. I actually have sudden stretching pain that stops me in my tracks. Sometimes I can tell when it's gas pains, and when it's stretching pains, but either way it's a very uncomfortable feeling.
I weighed more pre-pregnancy with my first and had a little pooch to start with, and I don't remember feeling this uncomfortable with her.
With this one I only weighed 118lbs prepregnancy and I seem to be feeling tight..stretchy achey and out of breath alot! Was your tummy thinner prepregnancy? Just curious as to if that's why

=] i was very small. I had a little flat tummy, weighed 103 I now weigh 113
My belly hasn't really gotten to round yet but I know a lot of girls who just popped around 19/20 weeks so i figured maybe thats all this is.
I know the difference between gas & no gas pains as well.

I am 18 weeks and I just found out I'm having a boy too!
I had a nagging pain in the same spot, every day for about a week or two. It turned from nagging to worse, and felt like sharp pains that would double me over. I attributed it to growing pains until I went for my ultrasound last Thursday. On the screen, I saw my baby kicking the same spot over and over again. I asked the lady what he was kicking, she told me it was my bladder area. (He is in the breech position). It explained everything. And he continues to do this, mostly at night- it drives me crazy!!!

haha. it seems everyones who is at 18 weeks or 19 are all having boys!
Yeah sometimes i think it's him kicking cos its like a jabbing pain in the same spot for a little then it moves. Sometimes I feel like he's kicking my bladder as well because I always feel like I have to pee.

Being thinner must have something to do with those kinds of pains then!
at nearly 14 weeks, I'm still waiting to look pregnant and pop out..I just look and feel like I just ate huge italian dinners for a week straight and haven't pooped! lol
Funny about the bladder...my daughter put such a hurting on my bladder I still tell her she used it as a trampoline

I also had a lot of pains. Sometimes I would wake up in the middle of the night and wonder what the heck was happening to my body. It disappeared after a few weeks and everything was fine. Just take your vitamins and exercise.
