Hi guys,

i hope i can find some answers in this forum.

I started a cold 8 days ago... And 6 days ago i had sinusitis on my right site. I went to the doctor on Monday and she gave me some antibiotics for 10 days(Amoxicillin).
I am still very congested(i think it is because of the sinusitis) and need to take Vicks 12 hour nasal spray since 5 days 1-2 times a day. I tried so many other stuff(saline spray, inhaler...) but nothing worked and i ended up using the Vicks Spray otherwise i can't breathe....

My question is.... Has anyone experience with a bad cold at the end of the pregnancy? Our baby is completely developed by now so the spray shouldn't harm her....

Yup, been there, done that. The draining of my sinuses made me throw up a bunch. It was the only time I ever called in sick to work. I didn't take any medication for it though, which in hindsight, was dumb. If it's safe and makes you feel better, go for it!

I was pretty congested the whole pregnancy, not from a cold, but just in general. Hope you feel better soon!
