I've had this suspicious feeling that these symptoms I've been having may not be from PMS. I usually don't get symptoms until a week before my period, but this time I got symptoms about 2 1/2 weeks before, so it's weird. Plus I don't normally get cramps and feel queasy or as intensely bloated as I do this time around. I took a pregnancy test today (4 days before my period) but I got a negative result. Today I've also been bleeding very lightly and this is not a normal occurence for me before my period. I have a hunch this might be implantation bleeding. I plan on taking another test when my period is supposed to come - if it doesn't. But what if I get my period and this isn't a pregnancy? This pattern of symptoms is unusual for me and have never happened before. What do you think could be going on?

My period is supposed to come on Friday but I started bleeding a very small amount on Monday and Tuesday.

What are some explanations for early periods?

When I was pregnant with my first, I was just sure I was pregnant, but the EPT's kept coming up negative. It took three tests over the course of three weeks for one to come up positive, and I was pregnant the whole time...so just keep taking the EPT's. You may be pregnant but just to early on for a test to come up positive.
