Actually...not quite so much dreams...more DAY dreams....and my victims....fellow co-workers!!!!

Lately, at work, I've become so incredibly moody and ANGRY!!!!!!!!!! The stupidity I have to deal with on a day to day basis is really starting to get to me!!!!!!!! Normally, i'm able to brush it off....but now...nuh uh!!!!

My manager at work went on vacation...so me being the assitant manager...i'm in charge..no big deal...cuz pretty much everyone knows their job....and we all get along....but some of the girls....FEEEEEECK!!! I had the day off yesterday, and one of the girls called me all in a panic, cuz the District Manager called saying that they have a phone conference meeting and she needed to be a part of it....well she freaked out...calling him back saying that both the manager and A. Manager were not there....the DM said that was fine she can sit in, LISTEN, and just TAKE NOTES....so what does she do...calls me in a panic, BEGGING me to take the call!! I told her plain and simple, NO..it's my day off, and she was smart enough to take the call.....Christ, all she had to do was listen..this isn't rocket science people!!! So she ended up getting another girl on the phone with her, so they could both listen and take notes together!

THAN....one of the girls today starts complaining that nobody bothers to wash the toilet at work and it's gross underneath.....I said fine, than clean it! She got angry and said it wasn't fair that she should be the only one doing it...so her solution to the problem was...now get this.....REMOVE THE TOILET SEAT!!!! And she was dead serious...she really wanted to remove it. I said no friggin way...she kept arguing it, and arguing it...until I finally snapped and Yelled at her that there was no F--king way we were removing the toilet and we were done with this conversation! I swear it took all my will not to throw something heavy and sharp at her!!!!!

And than having to listen to all the catty side talk about this girl or that girl...cuz I work with ALL women...help me god!!!! Normally, I just laugh it off and walk away...but now...it just pisses me off listening to all that crap!!

I tell ya...i'm soooooo looking forward to maternity leave...and than NEVER going back there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!

i completely feel you on the catty girl talk thing. i'm a nurse manager in a PICU, we have a couple of male nurses but predominantly women. my director at least is a man, that helps keep him out of the drama. but some of the drama queens make me want to stab myself in the eye with a ballpoint pen. it's like junior high all over again! and i'm fine with people coming into my office to vent. but when they come in to bitch about a coworker and expect me to resolve it (i'm not talking about serious issues, i'm talking about immature bullshit issues) i tell them i'm not the hall monitor and they can come talk to me when they get their big girl panties on.
it's the most annoying part of my job, for sure. one of my fellow managers is constantly threatening to taze people, which always makes me smile

OH....ya....that would so make my day a lot more brighter and sunnier!!!!
