ok today something really gross looking came out of me.... it looked like a big ball of white snot... my hubby is worried that it was my mucus plug. I am only 31 weeks and I also have a cerclage... could the mucus plug come out even with the cerclage?

I could be but since you're 31 weeks it may be just normal for you. You can lose your mucus plug and still not go into labor till your due date. I lost mine with my daughter at 32 weeks and didn't have her for another 5 weeks. But if it didn't have any pink/red blood streaked through it then it's possible it was only a glob of discharge. I know, it sounds gross but I've read elsewhere from other pregnant mom's that they've experienced dischage that is blobs like that not just the regular white milky pregnancy discharge, had it checked by their OB and told it was normal for some ppl.

well i called the doc and he said that it does sound like the mucus plug but not to worry... so i guess i feel better lol
