Default My baby has always has a rash on her neck. chin, and upper portion of her chest.?

I have taken her to the doctor for it twice. I was told both times that it is a fungal rash from the moisture that she gets from drool, formula, etc. I wash it and apply the ointment that has been prescribed for her every time she gets a diaper change. I have also tried petrollium jelly. What can I do?

Im not sure but it is okay and normal for a baby to get rashes. Just keep using the treatment as directed until its completely gone, even when you see no rash, keep applying.

It will go away once she stops drooling all the time! Just hang in there and keep it clean and as dry as possible.

sometimes believe it or not it can be because her clothes or bibs have a colored trim on them and for some reason this irritates the skin. Try to make sure they are white and keep it dry. I worked in an infant room at a daycare and learned this from an older teacher. We had a child that had the same problem and we tried it and it really did help. I have no idea why.
