My boyfriend always reminds me to take my birth control, but I forgot and now I am pregnant. How should I go about this? I know my boyfriend does NOT want a child right now, but I do not want to have an abortion. What's an easy way of going about this? As if there actually is. I am 19 and he is 21. We both have good jobs, but I always wanted to have chldren after I was married. Life doesn't always go according to plan obviously, and I know he is going to be stressed out. Help =(

If he loves u he should understand that u honestly forgot to take it. I would just tell him the truth he will either like it or he wont he will just have to get used to the fact that he is going to be a father?

It is a hard thing to deal with hun. You simply need to sit down and talk with him about your options. You dont want an abortion so that is out. How about putting up the baby for adoption?

Just talk with him, you never know his views may change when he actually realises he is going to become a father. Talking is the best thing to do, and do it as soon as possible.

I would just tell him the truth and tell him that your not getting an abortion and stand your ground...maybe adopt the baby out?

wow. you're in quite a pickle. I dont really know how serious your relationship is, but you might wanna do something nice for him, something that he really enjoys. Tell him when he is in a good mood.

That must be hard, but you have to be brave & just tell him, he'll probably be mad at you for forgeting.. but im sure he'll come around & be happy about this afterwards.

If he loves you he will understand. It is not the end of the world. I had my son when I was 17 and it was the best thing to ever happen to me.

I would approach the subject very carefully and calmly. He might think that you purposely "forgot" to take your pill. He has to realize too though that when you play there is always the chance that you will pay because the pill is not 100% effective. Two of my friends got pregnant while on birth control. Even if he gets mad and chooses to leave, you can be a strong enough person to keep your baby. If you have a good job like you say, that's one less issue to worry about. I would also hope you have family and friends that will help and support your decision. Good luck to you and your baby!
