Default My milk is going away!

My milk is going away and I dont know what else to do to revive it!

I am trying to drink my fluids, nurse and pump more but it does not seem to be helping.

When I pump, I am lucky to get an ounce out of both breasts combined.

Any suggestions?

My baby is just a little over 3 months old.

Don't worry- as long as your baby is still wetting a normal amount of diapers, the milk is still there. Around 2-3 months, your milk supply finally settles into the amount there is supposed to be, instead of the crazy too much milk thing of the early months. It might just seem like there is less.

If you're really worried about it, try taking a "breastfeeding holiday". Tuck up in bed for a day or two with your baby and a lot of water, relax and feed on demand. If the baby hasn't nursed in three hours, try to nurse anyway, and if the baby just isn't interested, pump. Should do wonders for your supply, but really it sounds like your milk is just settling in and it's ok.

Everything she says. Never ever go on the amount your able to pump, it's not a reliable source to tell you how much milk your producing.
