Last Sat I went thru severe abdominal pain and light spotting. I thought right away that I was having a miscarriage. The whole weekend I was in pain and cramping. I went in on Thursday to see the Dr at the Health Center. He performed a urine test which still showed positive but did an ultrasound and confirmed I had one. I went back to work, worked all week (maybe I overdid it). On this past Friday in the middle of the night, I woke up to HORRID cramping again, and bleeding. Not gushing, but felt like a period. On Sat, the pain was horrendous and Sunday was a bit slighter. I felt like I was going to die on Sat it was so bad. Today is Monday, I stayed home from work. The cramping is not as bad but I still have pressure, light cramping, light bleeding, etc. My back is aching (I assume from bed rest). The dr never mentioned I needed a DNC. I felt fine that day but like I said, this weekend was HORRID. Has anyone else gone thru horrid pain for a miscarriage? I was around 6-7 wks.

I have had 3 miscarriages and they were all different. Some I had pain, some I just had spotting. I would go to your doctor for another ultra sound to make sure that everything has passed on it's own, because if it doesn't it can cause an infection that can make it harder for you to get pregnant again. I am sorry for your loss.

You need a DNC, to remove all the dead tissue inside you..what you're feeling are all signs of infection. You need to go see your OB right this minute.
