Default 20 weeks - miscarriage?

I was told I couldn't have children because I did not ovulate, Last week, we found out not only am I pregnant but at 20 weeks. We had an ultrasound, heard the heartbeat and found out it's a boy!

Well towards the end of last week, I was feeling what I was sure was lots of movement in there, though I am not positive as this is my first pregnancy. Over the weekend I did not notice much movement and today I am feeling nothing.

Is there a possibility something could have happened? I'm very scared...

congrats on your pregnancy. I wouldnt worry too much about the movement thing. I would call your OB and mention your fears and they might be able to give you a comfort appointment to check for the heart beat. Chances are everything is fine. They have to nap too!

I know this was posted too long ago to help this lady, but maybe the information might help someone else.

It is recommended that if, after you've started feeling your baby move on a daily basis, you do not feel 10 movements within 2 hours you should call your doctor.

Don't worry. It's OK, if you do not feel you baby in the first weeks every two hours. He is not yet big enough to kick you strong enough or in order that you feel sth.
What you wrote in the 2nd post should be a rule after week 30. So do not worry.

10 movements? thats alot for 2 hours... esp at 20 weeks. I would say more like 4-6 in 2 hours. but even then. they go for hours sometimes with out moving, and they are just sleeping. mine does it all the time and im almost 27 weeks..

In my opinion, I think it depends on the pregnancy. I hardly felt anything until a little after 20 weeks. She is STILL mellow on some days. Some days my baby is just kicking and moving up a storm and some days it's like she is just "chillin" heh in the womb. I know this is normal for my baby so I don't freak out too bad = ) I believe from now on, your doctor will check for a heartbeat everytime you go in and as long as you hear that heartbeat you are fine = )

congrats on the pregnancy and even though I'm not a doctor I think it's safe to say you are "out of the woods" as far as miscarrying.
