Im am now on week 14 of my pregnancy, and just before the begining of week 13 I started having vaginal bleeding. The bleeding subsided and did not continue again until the first day of week 14. I have been into the ER 4 times now, they have done mutiple ultrasounds that proved the baby to be healthy, and myself to be healthy as well. I have began to cramp and still the doctors say nothing, I am so confused right now! The bleeding has been followed with excruciating headaches (which have been continueing now for 3 days) My OB had put me on pelvic rest and yet the bleeding still continues, what is going on? This is my first pregnancy, and my fiance' and I are very worried that there could be somthing wrong that the doctors are not seeing. Does anyone have answers?

Doctors report no findings of possible miscarriage, at this time. Please help me, Im am stressing badly about this and I want to know that everything is fine for my baby and myself.

what type of vaginal bleeding are you experiencing? it is bright red? a lot? a little? or is it brown? is it only visible when you wipe after using the bathroom?

The bleeding is a redish brown. I have to wear a panty liner to keep my panties from getting covered. I wouldnt say that it is a lot but it is quite a bit.

well, the nausea, back pain and headaches are all pregnancy related, so they're not necessarily a huge indicator that you could be miscarrying.

vaginal bleeding is usually alarming if it's a bright red. sometimes the uterus sheds old blood during pregnancy so blood that is mostly brown can be nonharmful and not be a sign of a miscarriage.

you've done the right thing by going to your doctor, and if they're finding no signs of a miscarriage, i wouldn't worry unless the bleeding changes to a bright red color.

my mother-in-law spotted the entire time she was pregnant with my husband and she had to wear a panty liner all the way through pregnancy and he turned out fine. sometimes it happens.

I was 8 weeks along and started bleeding at work (with clots). I went to the ER and they did blood work and a sonogram. The doctor there told me there was a small area where the placenta was coming apart from the uterus. He suggested bed rest and a follow up with an OB. Well, I managed to get in to see the OB the next day. The bleeding had subsided by then. He did another sonogram. When he saw the heartbeat he said everything looked alright but that if I was going to have a miscarriage there was nothing that could be done to stop it. When I told him what the ER doctor said about the placenta, he reassured me that it was too small at the time to even see the connection and tell if anything was going on there.
I am now 14 weeks pregnant and have had no further incidence other than occasional light spotting. I have been back to the OB for a regular appointment. Had another sonogram that showed a very active little one.
