i ran out of prenatal pills prescribed by my doctor. but i still have prenatal pills that i bought from wal-mart from when i was in my 1st trimester. so is it okay to just take the bought prenatal pills instead of paying more to refill my prescription??

yeah, as long as your taking prenatals it doesn't really matter. With my first pregnancy I only took store bought prenatals and with my second, third and fourth I take prescription prenatals because my insurance pays for them.

Unless your doctor wanted you to take a specific one because of a special need (and s/he would have told you that), there is no problem using OTC prenatal pills. Congratulations!

why would you want to take a chance with your health? Be thought full of the doctor who is looking out for your well being. don't jeopardize your relationship with someone who puts their trust in you; a patient; that you will do as he says for your own safety. Who better can say what is best for you?
