Default Re: Prenatal Viatmins?

Hi. I would recommend Lifepak PreNatal dietary supplement. That's what I'm using now and it works great for me. Since I'm not a fan of milk, and my baby is trying to suck calcium from my bones, my OGBYN recommended Victativ candy. It's high in calcium so i can only take 2 candies a day. But it tasted so good that I bought the candy without the calcium. Though I would strongly suggest that a healthy diet would always trump and Vitamin Supplements. Try and check out what you should eat and what to avoid.. WHAT TO EAT DURING PREGNANCY: FOOD TO EAT WHEN PREGNANT

The Beta Carotene form of vitamin A is harmless during pregnancy I think because your body has a way of moderating its transformation of Beta Carotene to Retinol. If you eat too much Beta Carotene, it just gets stored harmlessly in your body and you might look kind of orange. Beta Carotene is the fruit and vegetable kind of vitamin A. Retinol is what's found in animal protein. This is what is harmful in large amounts. Liver is said to have the highest amount of this and so pregnant women are advised to stear (sp?) clear of liver.
