Default ensure/boost

I was wondering if you can take ensure or boost drinks if you are not craving food(so you still get vitamins)

Default Re: ensure/boost

I don't know about anyone else, but I am hypoglycemic and sharing my blood sugar with a baby makes it about 10x worse than normal, so I have been drinking carnation instant breakfast mixed with soy milk during those times when I am so sick of eating but I have to have something in me so I don't pass out. I figure, it's got calcium, protein and vitamins, it's filling, and it keeps my blood sugar up. I don't see anything wrong with it, as long as it is not the basis of your diet. Use it to fill in the gaps, not as a replacement for meals.
