You should be fine, Its normal to gain weight and fell like your tummy is getting bigger which is good. Also some foods can cause you to feel "fat" like greasy foods, fast foods. Apple juice can give you ALSO give you indigestion. Try and watch what you eat. Burping shouldn't be anything to worry about its just your body letting out gas.

Hi Kutty It's so normal to be getting a tummy, keep eating healthy and you should be fine. Nausea and fatigue are also perfectly normal.

I read that a lot of times constipation can cause the early tummy.

I am about 5-6 weeks pregnant and lower stomach is already getting puffy. I work out all the time and my food hasn't increased. Is this normal? I know you retain water but I am just having a hard time believing that i would have such a bloated belly so soon. My jeans all fit me the same except around my stomach. Even my shirts are getting a little uncomfortable (I wear form fitting clothes normally). I am supposed to go to the beach this weekend and am a little embarrassed because i was assuming it was way to early for anything to show.

It's all quite normal. Early in pregnancy, you start retaining water, and making more blood, which takes up a bit of room. Constipation helps too. The increased appetite is normal too- go ahead and eat when you are hungry, but try to pick healthy things to eat!

omg i burp all the time!!!!! Some days are worse then others, but sometimes i<m not even eating or drinking and i'll burp, it just comes out of nowhere!! Burping was actually one of my first symptoms, that plus the extreme hunger, which soon turned into nausea

I I "thought" I was showing really early too, but as it turned out, my belly was a result of bloating and constipation. This is not abnormal and maybe thats the reason yours is aswell. Your right, we do also retain water, so some of your weight could just be water weight! I just felt fat for the longest time, but you will find that as you get further along, you will begin to notice that "too many cupcakes" looking tummy will transform into a very very apparent "preggo belly"! Weight gain is inevitable when you are pregnant- so enhoy it while it lasts. I just try to remember that for every un-nessasary pound I put on.. its going to be that much harder to lose it after delivery. But that never stops me from enjoying a nice greasy pizza smothered with 5 pounds of cheese and some hot wings! Yummy... (as my tummy growls)
