If it's any help, I've been told by my doctor that you really don't have to be obsessive about all of the "do'd and dont's" about food during pregnancy. Sure, you want to make sure you are eating healthy stuff and getting proper nutrition, but you don't have to plan all of your meals around these guidelines. There are so many foods that you should supposedly avoid during pregnancy, but most won't do anything to harm the baby. Sometimes they warn against certain things simply because if you were to develop something like food poisoning or salmonella, that could become dangerous. You are not really at a higher risk for getting these illnesses than you are when you are not pregnant.
I think there are certain things that should be avoided though, such as the certain cheeses, undercooked meat, too much vitamin A, etc.
I'm not going to obsess over what I eat too much. Most of the women I know who have had children did not really change their diet at all and the babies turned out fine. I'm a pretty healthy eater anyway, so maybe I have less to worry about. I just have to cut out some of my favorite cheeses
