I highly doubt that will affect you in anyway. I just had a baby boy 7 weeks ago, and he was very healthy and still was while I breastfed, and I have to admit I didn't eat all the right foods. I had actually forgotten to take my prenatal vitamins from about 12 weeks on in my pregnancy, then forgot again while I breastfed. So no worries you will still have a healthy baby, remember back in the day these vitamins weren't on the market, and we still came to be........

I had a problem with the first prenatal vitamins that I was given. Talk to you doctor. My doctor was able to switch me to another vitamin that is easier for me to take. Your doctor can probably switch your vitamins also.

The folic acid is really important for your baby's development, so check your nutrition labels for folate or folic acid and let your Dr. know - there might be another brand of vitamin you could try. Also try taking your vitamin right after you eat, it might help with the nausea.

You should definately make it a priority to take them, but no, it will not hurt your baby bad enough to make you not feel it move (I saw your last question). Not taking it for an extended amount of time may cause little deficiencies here and there, but your baby would still be OK. There is no reason at all to think that is the reason you can't feel it move. You should be OK becasue you eat well, but do try to get the prenatal down, OK hun??

I can't take prenatals either. I get really sick (not just nauseous) so I spoke with the pharmicist and she suggested that I take childrens chewable. Because you really can't skip vitamins, no matter how good you eat. I take one chewable vitamin a day and I can't even tell that I've taken it. Flinstones are good too. Try that and it should work cause those prenatals were really making me ill and the children's do not.
