really? salt and chili pepper, never heard of having a fruit cup like that? Does it make it a little spicy? We probably won't have ripe melons until May I had some fruit cups with peaches and mangoes, yummmy!

well it's not chili pepper...i dont want you to get the wrong stuff if you ever choose to try some. lol stores around here usually sale it in the produce sections. they have it in bottles and it'll show on there that it's good to try on different types of fruit, and even things like carrots and corn. it's not really spicy...but it does have a certain kick to it i guess. i actually just got done eating some. after reading this i went to walmart and got some strawberries and watermelon. cut it all up when i got home, added some lime, salt, and chile powder and WOW...i'm satisfied now. lol but yeah that chile powder isn't really anything you would cook with, so your best bet to find it will be in the produce sections, or if you have some sort of hispanic/mexican foods section you could find it there as well.

This thread sent me racing downstairs at midnight to stuff as much cantaloupe as was physically possible into my mouth. Thank goodness I bought some earlier. Luckily I'm in NZ at the moment where it's in season. Good thing too, because now I need to go buy more
