I have tried something that I thought was worth sharing.
I'm about 34 weeks along... and lately, heartburn has been KILLING me! I'm sure many of you gals can relate.
My nephew told me one day to take gulp of pickle juice for it. At the time, I thought, "GROSS !" lol I shrugged it off, and went on my way. He said that the vinegar in the juice will neutralize the acid... but I still wasn't on board.
A couple of weeks ago, NOTHING I tried was giving me any relief. I sipped on milk and had been chewing on Tums to no avail. I've been avoiding spicy foods, and trying not to get overly full etc, like they recommend.
I was in sooo much discomfort one night not long ago... I opened the refrigerator door to have some more milk, and I caught sight of the jar of pickle juice. I didn't take a "gulp"... I took a few sips. And WOOOOOW!!! The heartburn was GONE.
Now whenever I feel it creeping up on me, I poor a little juice in a cup, along with a few pickles. I'll sit and munch the pickles and sip the juice, and it helps a LOT. I now understand the link between pregnant women and pickles !!! hahahahah
Anyway, I just thought I'd pass it along to any of you ladies who might be suffering with it like I have been.

Good luck if you try it. It has really worked for me.
