Yummy thing to try!
When I was pregnant I was told I wasn't getting enough fruit in the day. I love fruit but for some reason wouldn't eat it... Anyways I just thought of something I can do for next time and thought I'd share....
I took Vanilla yogurt (plain works too) and added frozen strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries with some OJ in the blender and made a yummy blended drink. I know this is nothing new, but if your like me it's worth a shot! You can even add milk to make it more of a yogurt drink!

That's so good! That was my breakfast every morning in college. Try adding in some peanut butter for protein. It sounds weird but it is SO GOOD!
Peanut butter and strawberries should get married...perfect together. Mmmmm....

Re: Yummy thing to try!
I drink this everyday for breakfast- I swear!
I add frozen berries, frozen peaches, juice (I like this C-boost by Bothouse Farms), pro-biotic yogurt, and soy protein powder.
Its the only way I get nutrition! lol.
I started it when I became pregnant with James- 2 yrs ago and had debilitating nausea. This was all I could keep down. I just kept having it for breakfast and buy all the ingredients in bulk.
I have gone through 2 blenders though....

I tried soy in my smoothies, but it always made it gritty--I could taste it, and it changed the texture. That's why I add peanut butter. Maybe Mrose bought a different brand, though.
The soy thing is cosmetic, not medical. Soy can magnify the effects of estrogen in your body, but it doesn't do any actual harm. The main thing it can do is make the pigment changes in your skin more noticeable. Some women get dark spots on their skin--soy would theoretically make it worse.
I never had any issues with skin pigmentation when I was pregnant, except that my breasts looked like they might be a little more tan (I'm usually white enough to put snow to shame--this made my veins look SLIGHTLY less stand-out blue). All of my protein came from either dairy or tofu (which is made from soy), because I coudn't keep down flesh-based protein.

I remember what I was thinking of... It was an article suggesting soy during pregnancy could make your male child guy because of increased estrogen lol yeah.... I think I read to much.....
