Has anyone ever ate something that taste like the food smells or the food tastes like a smell?

for example...

Cough drops...they taste like they smell...or

dried seaweed (don't ask) it tastes like fish food smells...

And for some reason...to me...green Skittles (lime) tastes like Pine-sol smells???

Anyone else as weird as me?

yes, I agree with the skittles thing!! I think Lemon propel tastes like pine sol too!! eww! Gosh, I can't think of any others off the top of my head though.

I'm glad to know I'm not crazy!!! lol, I'll smell something and be like ''ew..this smells like this tastes'' or vice versa and people look at my like I'm weird and go ''how can something taste like a smell/smell like a taste?''

Like me and my friend, when we were young we used to dig up roots and there were certain roots that used to smell exactly like fresh carrots taste.

Kinda on topic.... When I was in grade school our teacher told us that smell IS taste and visa versa... So some young kid raised his had and asked... "So when I fart in my brothers face, and he smells it, he's also tasting my fart! LMAO oh man that still makes me giggle...
