im tired of the "could I be" questions
Hey ladies,
I know you are all freaked out and have no one else to talk to, but no one's answer is really going to make you feel better about maybe you are or maybe you arent pregnant. No one in this forum can tell you if you are or arent pregnant on here- only a pregnancy test can.
I have heard of women getting pregnant DURING their period. Ovulation times are different for each woman-You truly never know. This section of the forum should be called the "am i pregnant" section because thats seriously all everyone is asking! I feel bad for you girls.... if you are pregnant- you are pregnant- no sense in stressing over it- you find out for sure- and you either keep it or abort it. Don't freak yourself into a worry for something that is potentially nothing. If you think you may truly be pregnant- than take a pregnancy test because you are wasting your time asking strangers if you could be preggo. Read everyone's responses- they all say "take a pregnancy test!!"
I love you ladies- dont get me wrong- its just- how many times are people going to post the same story over and over again when there are THOUSANDS of articles out there and similar threads like this?

Re: im tired of the "could I be" questions
Wait, this is your first post and you are talking like you have been around forever.....a little confusion here BUT NONETHELESS, I agree.
There needs to be a sticky about something like "if you think you are pregnant" and then the thread should go something like this 1) miss a period, 2) pee on a stick, 3) if it's positive you ARE, 4) if it's negative and you disagree no need on buying 10 top dollar tests, go to the doctor. The End.
Webmd has lots of great information on pregnancy signs and such but women's intuition will TELL you if you are or not. It's that unconscience thing in your stomach that you always want to ignore.

I could not agree more with you. That is the one problem I have with this forum. There are so many people just wanting us to say "yes there could be a chance that you are pregnant". If someone thinks there is a chance than just go take a test. This forum has great information, but I do get irriated by that same question over and over again.

Re: im tired of the "could I be" questions
Okay, Well I'm on of those "could I be" questioners. Honestly, if you're so sick of reading them- don't. Not too hard to figure out. In my opinion, when people are stressing over whether they may or may not be pregnant- it's comforting to be able to turn to a place where you can vent everthing that's been going on and hear what your peers have to say. Yea, the solution may be simple- just take a pregnancy test- but a lot of the time it's a lot more complex than that and simply typing out your thoughts is helpful. So, if you don't like it...ignore it and move on, cause it's obvious that for many women out there this is a good place to let loose.

I agree... it really heps us feel better if we have people to "chat" with that we can relate to. We are all excited and want that glimmer of hope... so please don't read it if you don't want to. That is why there is private messages... Do you have a baby? Are you pregnant? If so... you don't know how lucky you are. I only pray I am pregnant... or get pregnant very soon.

Re: im tired of the "could I be" questions
Yes, it seems like 99% of all questions go like "hi every1, so Im really worried cuz the last time I had sex with my bf was 2 weeks ago, and my periods 3 weeks l8! Could I be pregnant & if so could the sex hurt the lil baby? Cuz we did it from bhind?!"
We should just get a default answer option (like the Quick Reply thing) that goes "YOU MIGHT BE PREGNANT. PLEASE DO THE RESPONSIBLE THING FOR ONCE AND TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST, OR BETTER YET, TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR".

Re: im tired of the "could I be" questions
Just my opinion (and you know what they say about those...they're like *fill in the blank*, everyone's got one...LOL!)-
I've read SOOOO many of the "am I pg?" threads... several of them have done the HPT and still don't have an answer. Some have even gone to docs and still think there's a chance... they just want confirmation that there's still hope for that month.
I'm with the gal who said its just helpful to type out our feelings and know that there are other women who want so badly to have a baby that we imagine every twinge/ tummyache/ or tired day may be the sign that we're going to be blessed. Sometimes they're lucky- they are pg, other times they're not and its nice to have the support through the disappointment.
But, I DO agree that it'd be great to have a seperate section JUST for these questions. Maybe that's something the site owners will pick on... GREAT IDEA!!!
